Opening Position:
Accounting Manager
Job Duties & Description:
Work and report to Vice President and supervise accounting clerks in developing, implementing and maintaining accounting systems, financial controls and procedures and policies. Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data. Acts as a liaison between the company and auditors in providing the required information and ensuring that proper information is maintained. Manage general ledger, fixed assets, cash flows, accounts receivable, payable and payroll. Review financial results identifying significant variances and report the reasons for their occurrence. Ensure that the company's financial reporting is in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory requirements. Implement the company's internal control accounting systems. Manage internal control changes. Ensure that adequate controls are maintained, documented, and tested for the assigned processes. Review internal control systems and notify Vice President of any discrepancies or inconsistencies identified in financial, operational, or computer system controls. Study and analyze newly issued accounting or financial regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
Master of Business Administration, or Master of Science in Accountancy or Finance.
Working Hours:
8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday for 35 hours a week
